St. Mary's Choir

Friday 24th January

We start this term with 41 members of the Choir so it is brilliant to have so many keen singers! We have started learning a couple of songs today and plan on building up quite a repertoire during the term. Our new songs this week are Be Thou My Vision and Paint Me a Rainbow, which was written by my Father (originally back in the 1970's but has been reworded recently and edited for children to sing). Also, Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

Well done Choir for your super singing of 'It's Harvest' in our Harvest service today! After only two choir practices, I was really impressed.

Voice in a Million

Voice in a Million 1
On Thursday March 21st, 27 members of St Mary's School Choir took part in Voice in a Million at Wembley Arena. Voice in a Million is a huge event with hundreds of schools taking part to raise their voices in aid of the charity Adoption Uk. It was an amazing event, which the children and adults thoroughly enjoyed and was an experience that they will never forget! We hope to participate in Voice in a Million again in the near future.
