Art and Science Week

We loved making Lava Lamps.

We investigated how water is transported through plants by putting coloured ink in water. We were amazed when we saw our white Roses change colour before our eyes.

Spring 1

 

Class three have really enjoyed this term and learned about many things. In Maths they have been doing lots of division and multiplication. They have studied two main texts in English, one about the Stone Age and one about the journey of a pebble through the ages. This has resulted in some brilliant stories, poems and non-chronological reports. Topic has been very exciting this term and they have travelled through several time periods including the Stone Age, Ice Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age.

Below are some of the children's highlights:

" I like our topic and doing extra Maths"

"I enjoyed English because I thought it was quite fun!"

"Maths and Art have been fun as we have learned new things".

"We made Stonehenge out of biscuits and that has been my favourite lesson"

 

Horsham Museum Workshop!

Making a Croque Monsieur- we loved it!

First Half Term

Class 3 have had a brilliant first half term learning all about Europe, mountains and rivers, christian stories, column addition and subtraction, newspapers and poetry. They have shown that they are brilliant juniors and are looking forward to the next half term with some Christmas filled fun! 

Class 3 and 4 'Take to the Rails' We travelled through some European countries experiencing their culture!
