Our Fantastic, Snoozy, Super Class 3 Sleepover was the best!

When we arrived, we had a long playtime outside using the game shop equipment and the footballs.

At the sleepover, we did a big talent show. Some of us did it on our own and some of us chose to do it in groups. We chose one of our best talents to show everyone. Everyone was a great audience because they watched and listened carefully. Everyone gave a big round of applause at the end!

We chose a film to watch in the hall (Tarzan) and we watched it with a cup of hot chocolate or milk and a biscuit. We even had marshmallows!

After the film, we brushed our teeth and got ready for bed. The lights went out at 10 o'clock. The grown-ups thought everyone did really well at going to sleep.

For breakfast, we had croissants, fruit and yoghurts.

Class 3's Amazing Adventurous Books

Spectacular Stories!

On Friday the 24th of June, we shared our amazing adventure books with Year 1. They really enjoyed it!

Class 3 put a lot of effort into our stories and they ended up being brilliant. We persevered and kept on improving our stories like Nemo until they were the very best they could be. We all concentrated like Elsa, had a go like Baymax, kept going like Woody and used our imagination like Stitch in our learning. As well as the story itself, we all designed a front cover and some of us even wrote our own blurbs. We enjoyed our learning like Belle!

If you are curious like Alice after hearing about our books, maybe you should read them!

Spring Term

We had a fantastic time this term learning all about the Romans.

Here are some of the things that we got up to!

We all really enjoyed our trip to Fishbourne Roman Villa!

Roman day!

We had a fantastic Roman day on Tuesday the 22nd of March. Everyone looked amazing in their Roman outfits! We had a fun morning doing problem solving using Roman Numerals, then we all had the opportunity to watch the plays that the children have worked so hard on for the last fortnight. (See below!).

One of our plays

We based our plays on a book called "Escape from Pompeii". The book is about 2 friends, Tranio and Livia, and their experiences when Vesuvius erupts. The children wrote their own scripts, including all the important features (like stage directions) and interpreted their scenes brilliantly.
