SEND
We are an inclusive school and welcome applications for places from children with additional needs and disabilities. If your child has an EHCP/ Statement, the application should be via the County SEND team.
When asked about why parents chose our school for their children, many state the support we give to every child and the SEND provision we work hard to provide.
One parent said..
"The year 6 lad that showed us around was so confident and when he showed us the extra needs rooms, he said that he goes in there as he is autistic and has asthma. I then said that our son has autism and asthma and I remember his words so clearly...he said ' oh well he will love it here then' - sold it for me!"
We have developed our practice in line with the new SEND Code of Practice (Revised 2015).
